What Is Florida Prepaid?

Florida Prepaid College Plans are designed to help families save for future educational expenses. These plans allow families to prepay the cost of education and use those benefits when a student is ready to continue their education after high school.

Students with eligible Florida Prepaid benefits may be able to apply those funds toward approved educational expenses at Miami Barber Institute.

Why Students Choose Miami Barber Institute

Miami Barber Institute offers two licensed barbering programs designed to prepare students for professional licensure and career opportunities in Florida:

Restricted Barber Program

Our Restricted Barber Program consists of 600 hours of training and prepares students for the Florida Restricted Barber licensure examination. The program combines theoretical instruction and practical training in areas such as sanitation, infection control, haircutting, shaving, beard design, professional development, and barbering business fundamentals. The program is offered in a hybrid format that combines online and hands-on instruction.

Barber Program

Our Barber Program consists of 900 hours of training and provides comprehensive preparation for students seeking a full barber license in Florida. Students receive instruction in technical barbering skills, client services, safety and sanitation practices, business development, and professional growth.

Both programs are designed to help students develop the skills, confidence, and professionalism necessary to succeed in today’s barbering industry.
