How to Pay for Barber School?
Miami Barber Institute offers students multiple pathways to help make barbering education more accessible and affordable. Through its Five Funding Pillars, eligible students may be able to finance their education through Federal Financial Aid, Florida Prepaid College Plan benefits, Veterans Education Benefits (GI Bill®), Vocational Rehabilitation funding, and scholarship opportunities.
As the only accredited barber school in Miami-Dade County that offers access to Federal Financial Aid for eligible students, Miami Barber Institute is committed to helping prospective students explore every available funding resource as they pursue their educational and career goals.

The Five Funding Pillars
1. Federal Financial Aid
Eligible students may qualify for Federal Financial Aid to help cover educational expenses. Financial Aid programs may include grants, loans, and other forms of federal assistance designed to make career training more accessible.
The first step is completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Our Financial Aid team is available to assist students throughout the application process and help determine eligibility.
2. Florida Prepaid College Plan
Miami Barber Institute accepts eligible Florida Prepaid College Plan benefits.
Students and families who have invested in a Florida Prepaid plan may be able to apply those benefits toward approved educational expenses at Miami Barber Institute. Admissions representatives can help students verify eligibility and understand how Florida Prepaid benefits may be used.
3. Veterans Education Benefits (GI Bill®)
Miami Barber Institute is approved to train eligible veterans and beneficiaries under Title 38 of the United States Code, including the Post-9/11 GI Bill®.
Veterans and qualified dependents may be eligible to use education benefits to help pay for tuition and related educational expenses.
4. Vocational Rehabilitation Funding
Vocational Rehabilitation funding may be available to eligible individuals pursuing career training as part of an approved employment or rehabilitation plan.
Students working with Vocational Rehabilitation agencies may qualify for assistance with educational expenses and career training support.
5. Scholarships and Additional Funding Opportunities
Scholarships may provide valuable financial assistance for qualified students and do not require repayment.
