Miami Barber Institute Joins Forces with IcutArt to Bring Free Haircuts to Miami's Youth
Miami Barber Institute (MBI) is thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration with Jonathon Reyes, also known as “IcutArt,” to participate in an inspiring community event supported by the Miami Heat. This event, dedicated to bringing positivity and confidence to the youth of Miami, will provide free haircuts for elementary school students at the C.A.R.E. (Christian Academy for Reaching Excellence) Elementary School.
A Day of Giving Back
On Monday, January 27th, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, MBI will send a team of renowned instructors with 15 talented barber students to offer their skills and expertise, ensuring each student walks away with a fresh and professional haircut. The event, sponsored by the Miami Heat, will focus on uplifting the students at C.A.R.E. Elementary. This school embodies the mission of providing positive experiences to inspire youth to believe in their dreams.
The event is the brainchild of Jonathon Reyes, a prominent barber and the official barber for Udonis Haslem—the Miami Heat legend—and many other professional basketball players. His dedication to his craft and community is truly inspiring, and MBI is excited to be a part of this worthy cause.
